A heartbreaking incident of death of two brothers due to the shock of a fuse box near a well took place at Babarmachi-Sadashivgad (Karad).

In Babarmachi-Sadashivgarh (T. Karad), a tragic incident occurred where two brothers, Tukaram Sadashiv Khochre (55) and Shahaji Sadashiv Khochre (50), lost their lives to an electric shock caused by a possible rat nibbling on a wire in the fuse box near a well. The deceased brothers owned agricultural land in Shiwar named Bhatki in the village. The brothers left home around 12:30 in the afternoon to tend to their farm work in the field. Concern arose when they did not return by evening, prompting family members to try reaching them on their mobile phones to no avail. Subsequently, Tukaram Khochre's son went to the field and discovered his father and uncle lifeless near the electric box, a short distance from the well, leading to the unfolding of this tragic event. The senior police inspector of Karad city, along with the police team and Patil, reached the site during the night.
