Bengaluru: Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel H.D. Kumaraswamy stated on Friday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's observance of International Yoga Day (IYD) in Kashmir would serve as an inspiration for a peaceful life for the citizens of J&K. Speaking to reporters during the IYD celebration in New Delhi, the Union Minister expressed appreciation for the Prime Minister's annual tradition of marking Yoga Day in various states. He praised Prime Minister Modi for promoting the celebration of Yoga Day, noting that he has motivated people from 124 countries to practice Yoga for better health. The Union Minister congratulated the Prime Minister for his efforts in encouraging global participation in Yoga practice. He mentioned that the Prime Minister had previously marked the eighth edition of IYD in Mysuru, with a turnout of 15,000 participants. Highlighting the significance of Yoga in the country, the Union Minister emphasized the importance of incorporating Yoga into daily routines to address life's imbalances.
