The train accident in Lakhimpur Kheri:
The incident took place in Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh. Three members of a family were standing on the railway track and filming an Instagram reel. However, three of them died on the spot. The incident took place within the limits of Kheri police station. Locals rushed to the spot after getting information about the incident. The three were killed after being hit by a passenger train on its way from Lucknow to Pilibhit on Wednesday morning. The incident took place near Kheri.
A couple living in Mohalla Sheikh Sarai, Laharpur, Sitapur was filming a reel on the railway track. Mohammad Ahmed (30) and his wife Nazmeen (24) were shooting a reel near the railway bridge with their two-year-old son Akram on their lap. But he didn't know the train was coming. All three were run over by the train.
On receiving information about the incident, police and officials of the district administration arrived at the spot. Police have recovered the three bodies and sent those for post-mortem. Police are collecting more details regarding this.
