A young man was brutally beaten to death by a dozen assailants in Uttam Nagar area on Saturday night. The deceased has been identified as Kiran (26yrs). The assailants attacked him with knives. The family members of the victim alleged that the accused poured chilli powder on her wounds after attacking her. The injured was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead.

According to the police, the deceased had ten criminal cases registered against him and was a proclaimed offender of Uttam Nagar police station. The woman's family has alleged that she was raped. Police have arrested three accused, including a juvenile in connection with the case.
A police official said that on Saturday night, the police received information about the murderous attack on a young man. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. By then, his family members had taken the injured Karan to Safdarjung Hospital.

Where the doctors declared him dead. Police reached the hospital and sent the body of the deceased for post-mortem. Karan's brother Nishant said that his family originally hails from Chhatarpur in Madhya Pradesh. Ten criminal cases were registered against him. A case was filed in the court on Saturday. He had come to attend the hearing from Chhatarpur.

From there, he went home. He was alone at home the entire night. During this, about a dozen people came to him with sticks. The attackers started beating him with sticks. After brutally beating him up, the assailants poured chilli powder on his wounds and inhumanely assaulted him. After the incident, all the accused were absconding.

Investigations revealed that the deceased had committed a theft at the house of a woman in the area a few months ago. The family members of the woman have alleged that she was brought to the hospital by her husband. He attacked Karan. Police have arrested three accused in the case, including a juvenile.
