Hyderabad officers of the National Highway Authority of India( NHAI) have informed the Telangana government that the workshop for construction of the six- lane Hyderabad- Vijayawada public trace( NH 65) will commence within two months.
On Wednesday, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy held a high- position review meeting on the problems being faced by the National Highways Authority of India( NHAI) for the construction of roads in Telangana, with the advanced officers of NHAI at Dr. BR Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat.
During the meeting, Roads and structures minister Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy asked NHAI design member Anil Chaudhary to start the workshop incontinently, as the land accession for the trace has formerly been completed.
Construction of clay roads along the public roadways The offer to make clay roads along the public roadways for the use of agrarian vehicles and growers was bandied. Chaudhary said that the matter will be taken into consideration. The principal minister editorialized that the clay roads won't only be useful for the growers, but also for road expansions in the future by NHAI in Telangana.
RRR land accession The Telangana Chief Minister also brought to the attention of NHAI officers that Union minister for road transport and public roadways Nitin Gadkari has in principle the southern part of the Regional Ring Road( RRR) and the northern part assignment of a single number. Revanth Reddy inquired about the obstacles in land accession in the northern part of RRR.
Yadadri Bhuvanagiri Collector Hanmanth K Zendage informed him that some growers have approached the High Court due to a mistake in the road- alignment, and that the court has granted a stay. The principal minister ordered the collector to file a counter to vacate the stay by Friday. He asked the officers to take necessary way by entering a triplex agreement between the State government, the Centre, and NHAI, so that the design could be executed incontinently.
Nagpur- Vijayawada trace land accession issues The chief minister inquired about the status of land accession on the Nagpur- Vijayawada corridor in Khammam quarter by the NHAI. husbandry minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, who shared in the videotape conference from Khammam, said that the proposed road would pass through the expensive lands near Khammam, and the growers will be induced about the compensation.
The minister also said that the NHAI’s offer to convert the public trace from Khammam to Ashwaraopet into a state trace shouldn't be accepted, as the work on Tallada- Devarapalli green field road was formerly in progress. Deputy chief minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka appealed to the NHAI officers to construct service roads at big townlets and also junctions at necessary places so that growers will go to their fields on the road that was being constructed as part of the Nagpur- Vijayawada corridor.
Act in a humane manner while acquiring land for roadways CM Revanth Reddy instructed the quarter collectors to act in a humane manner during the land accession for construction of the public roadways. officers were asked to compensate the growers as per the rules.
The collectors informed him that growers weren't willing to part with their lands, as the request value of those lands was high, whereas the enrollment prices were low. The principal minister too conceded that the growers weren't ready to lose their lands, since they possessed it for generations. He has advised the collectors to hold a meeting with the growers and move them.
Transfer of timber lands for roadways When the issue of transfer of timber lands to construct Armoor- Jagtial- Mancherial and Vijayawada- Nagpur corridor roads came for discussion, the chief minister asked the collectors of Nizamabad, Manchiryala and Mahabubabad sections to allocate government lands as compensation for the timber lands. The profit and timber department officers were advised to coordinate with each other on the transfer of lands for the construction of roads.
The chief minister also directed the authorities to start the construction of Hyderabad- Manneguda road works incontinently, to which the NHAI officers agreed. he also asked the collectors to submit reports on the extension of public roadways in their quarter by end of this month.
