Hanuman Danda is one of the most popular exercises in India. Even today bodybuilder and wrestler Hanuman keeps himself fit by doing punishment. This exercise is easy to do at home without any equipment.

Hanuman Dand works more on all the muscles of the body as compared to normal push ups. This improves the blood circulation in the body. There are certain rules for Hanuman. Always stretch before doing this. Stretching will prepare you mentally for Hanuman Dand. It also burns calories and strengthens the muscles. This reduces chances of injury. After coming to the same posture as you do while doing normal push ups, keep the right leg close to your left hand and slowly move your chest up and down towards the ground. Do this 10 to 12 times.
