A youth committed suicide by hanging himself in the toilet of a drug de-addiction centre after he failed to get the tablets. The incident took place at Nityanand Rehabilitation Centre in Hinjewadi. Anup Lokhande (21 years) The name of the young man who committed suicide is Tadivala Road.
According to the information received, Anup Lokhande (21 years) was addicted to pills at Tadiwala Road. Anup used to take pills from the son of Raju Pawale, who lives in the same area and is a liquor dealer. On August 1, Anup had gone to Sarasbaug to celebrate the birth anniversary of Annabhau Sathe.
From that place, he came home at 8 am the next day, August 2, in an inebriated state; but at that time he did not have his car and mobile, which has not been found till date. His mother admitted him to the Nithyananda de-addiction centre in Hinjewadi the same day, but he committed suicide by hanging himself with a towel in the bathroom in the early hours of Tuesday.
In her complaint to the police, Anup's mother has demanded strict punishment for his friends and Raju Pawale, who supplied the pills to Anup.
This has the blessings of the police, due to which a large number of youth have become addicted to drugs.

Police should take action against the culprits, "he said.
