TDN

Kalyan – In a shocking incident that underscores the alarming rise in street violence, Bharat Somnath Shinde, a 25-year-old cook employed at a local hotel, was brutally beaten by three individuals over a seemingly minor altercation. The incident occurred on Wednesday night, prompting Shinde to file an official complaint at the Mahatma Phule Police Station. According to reports, Shinde had visited a cafe cream shop near Birla College to settle gratuity payments he had received from customers earlier that night. While at the cafe, he encountered an individual named Isma, who was standing outside and smoking a cigarette.

In an unexpected confrontation, Isma exhaled cigarette smoke directly into Shinde's face, which sparked a heated exchange between the two. Confused and irritated, Shinde confronted Isma, asking, "Why did you blow smoke on my face? What have I done to you?" The confrontation quickly escalated as Isma reacted aggressively, telling Shinde, "You are shocking me. Do you understand this? Who am I? Do you know?" Moments later, Isma assaulted Shinde, punching and verbally abusing him. Realizing that the confrontation was deliberately escalating, Shinde attempted to distance himself and proceeded to the cafe to continue with his business.

However, Isma quickly summoned two accomplices, and together they ambushed Shinde as he made his way back to the hotel. The trio attacked him, striking him on the head with a heavy object and taunting him, "What are you doing? Do you understand who we are now?" Following the brutal assault, Shinde immediately reported the incident to the Mahatma Phule Police Station. Authorities have registered a case and are actively searching for the three accused individuals.

The investigation is being led by Constable S. P. Kamadi, who has urged anyone with additional information about the incident to come forward. This troubling incident highlights the pressing need for community awareness and safety measures, as well as a robust response from law enforcement to address violent behavior in public spaces. The local community awaits swift action and justice for Bharat Shinde as the investigation unfolds.
