IAS officer Pooja Khedkar has been appointed as a probationary officer of the 2023 batch. Pune Collector Suhas Diwase wrote a letter to the Chief Additional Secretary, complaining about the use of red beacons on private vehicles, using government symbols, asking for IAS officer-like facilities, a separate cabin, a separate government bungalow, etc. Later, Pooja Khedkar was transferred to Washim.
After this, action will be taken against Pooja Khedkar for violating the traffic rules. However, Pooja Khedkar's mother did not allow the police to enter the house. The gate of the bungalow has been locked from inside and I have told the police that I will take everyone inside.
Pooja Khedkar joined as an Assistant Collector under probation in Pune district on June 3. However, before joining, he sent a message to the district collector and the resident deputy collector through WhatsApp and repeatedly demanded a separate meeting arrangement for them, a car, accommodation and a peon.
In fact, any IAS or IPS officer has to complete a probation period of two years. They have to work in different departments. They are actually appointed only after the experience of all these works. However, Pooja Khedkar had made various demands to the district collector during the probation period itself.
