An animal husbandry supervisor's attempt to cut the butter in the government's scheme of distributing milch cows / buffaloes has come to fruition. A livestock supervisor was caught red-handed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau while accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 to include his name as a beneficiary in the final list of the scheme. (Pune Bribe Case)

The complainant had submitted an online application for the benefit of the Maharashtra State Level Scheme for Distribution of Milch Cows / Buffaloes. Bandu Deokar, a livestock supervisor, demanded a bribe of Rs 7,000 from the complainant to include his name as a beneficiary in the final list of the scheme. (Pune ACB Trap Case)

The complainant lodged a complaint with the Anti-Corruption Bureau. His complaint was verified on July 31, August 1 and 5. It turned out that Bandu Deokar had demanded Rs 5,000 at the end of the settlement. Accordingly, the Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted a raid at the veterinary hospital in Kude Budruk on Tuesday. Bandu Devkar was arrested while accepting Rs 5,000 from the complainant.
