Pune crime news : Youth dies while stealing wires from MSEDCL tower

A young man died after falling from the tower while stealing wires from the MSEDCL tower. In order to hide the matter, his two accomplices had buried his body in the Pabe Ghat. Rescue teams from Pune and Velhe police have reached the remote Pabe Ghat and are searching for the body.

Basavaraj Puranth Maginman (22 years) Vadgaon Budruk is the native village of Toljur. The deceased has been identified as Akkalkot, Solapur district. A missing complaint was registered at the Sinhagad Road police station on July 23. This information has come to light during the investigation.


According to the police, the accused have been identified as Rupesh Arun Yenpure and Saurabh Bapu Renuse (25). He went to Ranjane in Velha on 13 July. Basavaraj had climbed the tower to steal the copper wire of the MSEDCL tower. He fell from the tower while cutting the wire with an axe blade.

Both of his friends were terrified. They dug a pit and buried his body there. After getting the information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
Velha police station's assistant police inspector Appasaheb Padalkar said that the body is being searched at Pabe Ghat.
