Bhawani Peth : Pune Crime News | An elderly man tried to kill himself by hitting him with a rod after an argument over Rs.20 paid for a cigarette (Attempt To Kill). The woman was also seriously injured. Khadak police have arrested a criminal of criminal on police record who vandalized vehicles in the area by saying 'I am the brother here' by rotating the rod in the air.
The incident occurred on Thursday Day. The incident took place around 11:00 pm. Salim Abdul Kader Sheikh (60yrs) was injured in the incident. Gultekdi (behind Noorani Masjid) has lodged a complaint at Khadak police station. This is Ayaan Rizwan Sheikh.

According to the police, the accused and the victim knew each other. At around 7:30 pm on Thursday, the accused got into an argument with the complainant over Rs.20 paid for a cigarette. Ayaan hit Salim on the head with a rod in his hand. However, he slipped and fell down on his knees. After this, the accused picked up the rod and hit Salim on the head with a rod saying 'I will finish you here'.
The accused also attacked the victim's wife with a knife. They also broke the windshields of vehicles parked on the roadside and threatened to kill me, saying I am the brother here. There was also fear. Further investigation is done by the police.
