Pune: Man arrested for burgling house in Deccan area, Rs 17 lakh recovered

Pune : In Karve Nagar bungalow, gold ornaments worth Rs.13.84 lakh Home Break at 11:00 am on July 8. A team of Unit I of the Crime Branch has arrested a notorious criminal and unearthed the crime within 48 hours and seized goods worth Rs.17 lakh 72 thousand. (Pune Crime Branch)

Allabaksh Mohammed Peerzade (35 years) The accused has been arrested from Railway Bharav, Mangalwar Peth, Pune. The 84-year-old woman had lodged a complaint at the Deccan police station. The police have registered a case under Sections 331 (3), 331 (4), 305 (A) of the Indian Penal Code against the unidentified accused.

As the crime took place in the middle of the house, the superiors instructed the police team to expose the crime. Accordingly, two teams were formed. When the police team examined the CCTV footage, police officials Nilesh Sable and Datta Sonawane found that the crime was committed by the criminal Allabaksh Peerzade on the police record. The police traced and arrested him.

During interrogation, he revealed that he entered the bungalow by scaling the compound wall of the bungalow and bending the window panes with an iron pipe. Thieves broke open the cupboard and stole jewellery and cash. The stolen found hidden in the river bed near the staircase of Shivajinagar metro station.

According to the police, a total of 17 lakh 72 thousand rupees worth of gold ornaments and cash weighing 20 tolas were recovered from the spot. The accused has been handed over to the Delhi Police. Under the guidance of Assistant Commissioner of Police Crime-1 Ganesh Ingale Police officers included ASP Pooja, DSP Pradeep Kumar and SHO Narendra Kumar.
