Pune: The Crime Branch of Pimpri-Chinchwad Police has arrested a man for allegedly making reels with a pistol. A case has been registered against five persons for allegedly firing a pistol in the air while riding a two-wheeler on a public road in Bheemshaktinagar in Chikhli area. Two of them, including a minor, have been arrested. The incident took place on the night of July 9.
Kunal Ramesh Sathe (age 26, Ra. Morevasti, Chikhli) have been arrested. His accomplice has been arrested. Yash Kamble (Ra. Tower Line, Chikhli) Sushil Gore alias Barkya (Ra. A case has been registered against the accused under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Maharashtra Police Act. A complaint in this regard has been lodged with the Anti-Extortion Cell of the Delhi Police.
The police are taking action against the brothers who vandalize vehicles, make reels with sickles in their hands and spread terror in the area by making them viral on social media. Ashish Botke saw a video on an Instagram account. Three of them were on a bike and one of them was riding pillion. The pistol was seen firing in the air, creating panic. He posted the video on Instagram. During the investigation, the police initially found the number of the car seen in the video.
Police have identified the accused on the basis of the registration number of the vehicle. Police later arrested the juvenile. The driver of the car, Kunal Sathe, was arrested. According to the police, the accused identified as Yash Kamble was sitting at the back with a pistol in his hand. Two of his friends made the video. The accused said that Rohit Mishra had posted on his Instagram account 'maya _ 0043'. The accused have been taken into police custody. Further investigation is done by the police.
