Pune Woman Arrested for Hoax Bomb Call to Halt Boyfriend's Departure from Bengaluru Airport

The woman, linked as Indra Rajwar, set up herself entangled in legal trouble after she allegedly placed a humbug hoax bomb trouble call to Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport( KIA) in an attempt to help her swain from boarding his flight to Mumbai.

The incident took place on June 26 and was categorised as a Non-Cognisable Register( NCR) incident. still, the case has now been elevated, and an FIR under IPC Section 505( 1)( B) was registered for making statements leading to public mischief.

Sources suggest that Rajwar informed the field authorities that her swain, Mir Raza Mehdi, who was travelling from Bengaluru to Mumbai, was carrying a hoax bomb in his luggage. Upon disquisition, the field police launched a thorough frisking and search only to find out that it was a humbug, thinking the callnon-specific.

latterly, it was discovered the couple were present at the field that evening and were spotted conversing in the departure chesterfield before the humbug call was made, as both were flying independently to Mumbai on different breakouts. latterly, Rajwar was detained by the KIA police, where she admitted to making the humbug call because she didn't want her swain to leave.
