Guwahati, India — Bollywood actress Tamannaah Bhatia, known for her roles in films like "Baahubali" and the upcoming "Stree 2," is facing mounting troubles as the Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigates her involvement in the Mahadev Betting App case. The actress was recently interrogated for several hours at the ED office in Guwahati after being summoned for questioning. Accompanied by her mother, Tamannaah arrived at the ED office on Thursday afternoon. This interrogation comes in the wake of allegations that she promoted an app called FairPlay, which is linked to the controversial Mahadev Betting App.

The FairPlay app allows users to bet on various entertainment and sports events, including cricket, poker, and football. Tamannaah's promotion of the app has drawn significant attention, placing her directly under the ED's radar. This investigation echoes previous summoning of other Bollywood stars, including Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, who were also questioned in connection with the same case. Comedian Kapil Sharma was similarly investigated last year as part of the ongoing probe.

The Mahadev Betting App case has raised alarms regarding fraudulent activities, including claims that individuals could invest 57,000 rupees and receive daily returns of 4,000 rupees. Reports indicate that shell companies have been created to facilitate scams, with many of the investments redirected into cryptocurrencies and bitcoins. The ED has reportedly seized over 490 crores in assets linked to the case thus far.

Tamannaah's fans, who have followed her extensive career in both South Indian cinema and Bollywood, expressed their concerns on social media platform X, reacting to the news of her investigation. With a substantial fan base and a series of successful roles under her belt, the unfolding situation has left many worried about the actress’s future. As the ED continues its probe, the spotlight remains on Tamannaah Bhatia, leaving fans and the industry alike to ponder the implications of this investigation on her career.
