The news from Mumbra : Girl dies after dog fall on her in Mumbai

Thane: A four-year-old girl was run over by a pet dog while she was walking with her mother on a road in Amrutnagar area of Mumbra on Tuesday afternoon. The child died at the hospital during treatment. The injured dog is undergoing treatment. A case of accidental death has been registered at Mumbra police station.

The girl who died in the accident was identified as Sana Bano, a resident of Amrutnagar in Mumbai. She was walking with her mother on the road in Amritnagar area at around 4.30 pm on Tuesday. At that time, a pet dog fell from the fifth floor of Chirag Mansion building. As he fell, Sanaa fell on his face. She suffered serious injuries to her head. She was rushed to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital for treatment. An ECG was performed on her and she was declared dead. The dog was also injured in the incident and has been admitted to a hospital. The entire country is mourning the death of the girl in this tragic incident. A case of accidental death has been registered at Mumbra police station.


The child died after being hit by a stray dog. A detailed statement of her mother has been taken in the matter and her mother has not raised any complaint or suspicion against anyone. Also, a letter will be sent to the municipality to investigate whether the owner of this pet dog has taken permission from the corporation to keep the dog. Mumbra police station's senior inspector Anil Shinde said that further action will be taken after this.
