Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu – A serious train accident occurred on Friday morning when the Mysore-Darbhanga Express. The incident took place around 9 o'clock, causing three coaches of the express to derail and two of them to catch fire. Fortunately, there have been no reported fatalities. Southern Railway authorities confirmed that while the accident resulted in injuries, all passengers are expected to recover. Initial reports indicate that ten passengers sustained injuries and have been promptly admitted to a nearby government hospital for treatment.
Eyewitness accounts revealed that the freight train was stationary at the time of the collision, leading to the impact from the Darbhanga Express, which was en route from Mysore to Darbhanga.
