Hinjewadi :- The number of vehicles in Hinjewadi IT Park is increasing day by day. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Tata, Mahindra and thousands of employees working in hundreds of IT companies get stuck in traffic jams every day. Everyone spends about one and a half to two and a half hours in traffic jams. The problem becomes acute during the rainy season. Around 37 companies have been shifted due to the same traffic jam. The Hinjewadi Industries Association has given shocking information that many more companies are on the verge of migration. What are the causes of traffic congestion?

There are 100 to 150 companies in Hinjewadi IT Park. About 5 million people work here. More than 1 lakh vehicles ply on the stretch every day. Each car takes about an hour and a half on the road. Lakhs of rupees are being spent on fuel. The company suffered loss amounting to crores of rupees as a result.

Now there are fears that the problem of unemployment will become serious due to the migration of IT companies. The Hinjewadi Gram Panchayat has also demanded serious attention in this regard. Since three autonomous bodies - PMRDA, MIDC and Hinjewadi Gram Panchayat - are working in the IT Park, the IT companies seem to be disinterested due to the lack of synergy between these autonomous bodies.

At present, Bhujbal Chowk and Bhumkar Chowk are the only options to reach Hinjewadi. But very soon the Man Hinjewadi to Shivajinagar metro line will start. This will ease traffic problems. The local administration should take the issue seriously. Maharashtra cannot afford the migration of IT companies.
Meanwhile, the metro stations at Hinjewadi IT Park will be connected by sky buses. The work of underground metro and ring road will also start soon, "Fadnavis said. But when will this work start and when will Puneites be released? That's a big question.
Frame :- Traffic jam due to apathy of PMRDA.

There are only two ways to enter Hinjewadi IT Park, Bhumkar Chowk and Bhujbal Chowk. The Blue Rich Road from Surya Hospital was inaugurated two years ago, but due to the failure of the PMRDA, the road could not be completed. If this road was completed before the start of the metro work, there would have been no traffic problem in Hinjewadi IT Park.

Response :- The entire roads in the Hinjewadi Gram Panchayat limits as well as in the MIDC limits have been greatly expanded. However, the PMRDA is yet to start work on the road. Repeated discussions have been held with the administration in this regard, but the apathy of PMRDA is visible. If the approved roads are completed, there will be no traffic problem in the IT Park. Hinjewadi Gram Panchayat is always committed to provide basic facilities to all the citizens of the IT Park. Ganesh Jambhulkar, sarpanch of Hinjewadi IT Park.)

Feedback :- The companies which have migrated from Hinjewadi IT Park have shifted to Baner, Magarpatta, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai and this is going to affect the employment generation and it is also affecting the rest of the IT companies. In such a situation, if the IT company migrates, it will affect the revenue generated. The administration has taken the matter seriously.
