New Delhi : As 140 crore Indians a ‘ Viksit Bharat’ by 2047, the country is on its way to come the third- largest frugality with big reforms across sectors, Prime Minister on Thursday. The 78th Independence Day, if 40 crore Indians can bring freedom in 1947, further than 140 crore citizens can also help make the country ‘ Viksit Bharat’ by 2047, when we celebrate the 100th time of Independence. “ We entered feedback from millions of Indians on how to make the country a advanced nation by 2047, and getting the third- largest frugality is one of those suggestions. We're committed to continue to bring big reforms which are the design of our unborn growth, ” the Prime Minister emphasised. PM Modi mentioned reforms in the banking sector under the BJP- led NDA government in the once decade, which revived the sector formerly reeling with losses and high NPAs due to the phone- banking policy of UPA. “ moment, Indian banks are one of the strongest encyclopedically. For the growth of our micro, small and medium enterprises( MSMEs), banks have come a backbone, ” said PM Modi. The government has set a target to install 500 GW( gigawatt) of renewable energy capacity by 2030, getting tone- reliant in the energy sector by 2047. The country also needs further “ greenfield metropolises ” like Gujarat International Finance Tec- City( GIFT City), PM Modi mentioned.
