In Jerusalem, the Israeli military announced on Saturday that they had retrieved the body of Ron Binyamin in Gaza Strip. Binyamin was one of the 252 individuals taken by Hamas-led Palestinian gunmen during a cross-border incident on October 7, which escalated into the current conflict.

Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, the chief military spokesperson, reported that Binyamin was found with three other deceased hostages, whose return was confirmed on Friday. According to military intelligence, all four were killed on October 7.
