Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the intense fighting against Hamas is nearing its conclusion. He mentioned that the intensive phase of the conflict in Rafah is close to ending, and Israeli forces are on the verge of completing this phase throughout the Gaza Strip.

Netanyahu emphasized that while this phase may be ending, the conflict in Gaza will persist, and operations will continue to target Hamas. Netanyahu also indicated that following the conclusion of this phase in Gaza, operations will extend northward, potentially leading to a full-scale conflict with Hezbollah.

He asserted that any ceasefire agreement along the Israel-Lebanon border must align with Israel's terms, including the removal of Hamas from power in Gaza and the release of around 100 hostages still held in the region.
