One passenger has died and another has been injured due to turbulence on a London-Singapore flight. The aircraft was promptly rerouted to Bangkok due to the storm, where an emergency system was activated to aid the injured passengers, as reported by Singapore Airlines on Tuesday. The airline noted in its Facebook post that the plane landed in Bangkok around 3:45 pm.

Based on data from Flight Radar24 and analysis by the Associated Press, the Singapore Airlines flight was flying at an altitude of 37,000 feet. Within less than 10 minutes, the aircraft stabilized at 31,000 feet before making a swift descent to Bangkok in just half an hour.

The emergency response team from Samitiways Srinakarin Hospital, located 20 km from Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, was dispatched to provide medical assistance to the injured passengers of flight SQ 321. A video posted on the messaging platform Line showcased a line of ambulances at Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Singapore Airlines expressed its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and stated that it is collaborating with Thai authorities to offer necessary support to the passengers. The airline also announced plans to dispatch a team to Bangkok for further assistance if required.
