Russia has officially requested the extradition of individuals linked to terrorist activities within its territory, such as Vasyl Maliuk, the head of the SBU Security Administration. Maliuk admitted that his agency orchestrated attacks on the bridge connecting Crimea to the Russian mainland after Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

The Ukrainian government has been notified of Russia's request for the prompt arrest and extradition of all those involved in the terrorist acts, as outlined in a statement from the Foreign Ministry released on Sunday.
