London : Rishi Sunak faced strong criticism from a Conservative Party colleague on Tuesday, refuting claims that he planned to move to California after severely damaging the party's reputation. Sunak emphasized that the UK is his home and he has no intentions of relocating his family to the US after the upcoming general election on July 4.

During his campaign in Amersham, south-east England, the British Indian politician expressed surprise at Lord Zac Goldsmith's social media remarks, noting that he had not communicated with the former Foreign Office minister in a long time. Sunak, a 44-year-old father of two daughters named Krishna and Anoushka, affirmed that he had no plans to uproot his children from their schools in the UK.
