The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education announced the 12th-grade results for the academic year 2023-24 in Thane district. This year, 92.08 percent of students passed the examination, with girls outperforming boys at 94.07 percent. The science branch achieved the highest pass rate at 97.05 percent.
In Murbad taluka, located in the rural area of the district, the pass rate was the highest at 98.01 percent. In terms of specific branches, the commerce branch had a pass rate of 91.34 percent, followed by the arts branch at 79.39 percent. The higher secondary business course attained a pass rate of 93.66 percent, while the technology science stream had an 89.67 percent pass rate.
