Indian Institute of Technology i.e. IIT is considered to be the best in the list of engineering colleges in the country. However, the RTI has revealed that the students of these colleges are largely unemployed. Hence, concern is being expressed in academic circles.

According to information requested by Dheeraj Singh, former student of IIT Kanpur under Right to Information, this year around 8000 students from all 23 IIT campuses are yet to get jobs, i.e. 38 percent students are still unemployed.
