Despite repeated requests to the authorities, the hospital is yet to be started. In order to make the administration aware of this alarming situation, the municipal area was fumigated today with a fogging machine. Amol Balwadkar said that the members of Amol Balwadkar Foundation and the citizens of Kothrud area were also present in large numbers on this occasion.

Diseases like dengue, malaria, chikungunya and encephalitis are on the rise in the district. Many patients complain of lack of treatment.
