Pimpri: An e-mail claiming that bombs have been placed at hospitals in Nigdi, Bhosari and Chinchwad in the city has created a ruckus between the hospital management and the police. The police called the bomb disposal squad. The entire hospital premises was cordoned off but nothing suspicious was found. And then everyone sighed in relief.
According to the police, a private hospital in Bheel Chowk under Nigdi police station area received an e-mail from the mail ID that a bomb was kept in the hospital. This led to a rush in the hospital. The hospital authorities informed the police. Police rushed to the hospital after the incident was reported.
The bomb disposal squad cordoned off the hospital premises but did not find any suspicious object. During an inspection of the premises of this hospital, it came to light that one hospital in Bhosari and another in Chinchwad had received similar e-mails. It was believed that someone had sent the e-mail. However, the police rushed to the hospital in Chinchwad and Bhosari to check if there was any danger. Who did it, and why? The investigation was on till late in the night.
