The Democracy News :- Sixteen people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Renukaswamy, a fan of actor Darshan. Sources involved in the investigation revealed that seven of the accused had never met the actor before their arrest. Some encountered Darshan for the first time in Mysuru while planning to cover up the crime, while others met him at Annapoorneshwari Nagar Police Station, where all the accused are currently held.
In the meantime, comedy actor Chikkanna, who was issued a notice by the police related to the case, underwent questioning on Monday. Prior to Renukaswamy being taken to the shed in Pattanagere on the evening of June 8, a Saturday, Darshan had been socializing with his companions at the Stonny Brook pub in R.R. Nagar. Actor Chikkanna was also purportedly present at the daytime gathering.
