London: A group of protesters blocked a machine on Thursday from removing shelter campaigners from a hostel in south London to a shipping vessel on the south- west England sea coast, as the UK government began phased action to crack down on illegal migration. The Metropolitan Police said 'a number of people' have been arrested in the Peckham area of London for public order offences as they chanted taglines in support of deportees and expostulated to their junking to the Bibby Stockholm barge docked at Port land in Dorset.
It forms one among a series of conduct being accepted by Home Office officers to attack illegal migration. "casing settlers in hospices costs the British tax payer. We'll not allow this small group of scholars, posing for social media, to discourage us from doing what's right for the British public, ”UK Home Secretary James Cleverly said in a social media statement replying to footage of the south London demurrers.
Several demonstrators offered a sit down in front of the machine before some of them were forcefully removed by officers. It follows health enterprises related to settlers being housed on the barge, which has been in use since August last time as an alternate to hospices for casing shelter campaigners.
