In Bengaluru, the Karnataka BJP unit is set to honor its 19 Lok Sabha MPs and Union Ministers from the state on June 22, as announced by BJP state chief B Y Vijayendra on Friday. The felicitation ceremony is scheduled to take place at the palace grounds in the city.
Vijayendra mentioned during a press briefing at the BJP office in Malleswaram that all MPs, MLAs, legislative council members, and state office bearers will be in attendance. In the recent Lok Sabha elections, the BJP secured 17 seats, while its ally JD(S) won two out of the 28 LS constituencies in Karnataka, with the ruling Congress emerging victorious in nine seats.
