Bombay High Court Denies Bail to TikTok Star in Rs 1.16 Crore Fraud Case

A case was registered at Kondhwa police station in connection with the cheating of Rs 1 crore 16 lakh by 9 people on the promise of 2 to 3 per cent return every month if they invest in the business of buying and selling cars. The Bombay High Court has rejected the anticipatory bail plea of TikTok star Maulana Abdul Rashid. The order was passed by Justice Manish Pitale.

Justice Manish Pitale, while dismissing the anticipatory bail of Maulana Abdul Rashid Qalandar Khan, observed that since the accused is a motivational speaker on social media and has millions of followers on social media, he easily persuaded and cheated investors more than the other accused.


Nisar Babulal Sheikh (55) He has lodged a complaint at the Singhdwar Police station in this regard. Rasheed Alias Miftahi Qalandar Khan (48), Sarv Ra. A case has been registered at Kondhwa Khurd, Bhagyodayanagar. This has been happening since 2020.

The plea was heard in the Bombay High Court before Justice Manish Pitale. Maulana Abdul Rashid Kalandar Khan is the main accused in the case. Since he is a motivational speaker on social media and has millions of followers on social media, he easily lured investors and cheated them by persuading them to invest. The amount of Rs 21 lakh was transferred to the bank accounts of Abdul Rashid Qalandar Khan and his family. Ameya Abhay Sirsikar brought the matter to the notice of the High Court.(Kondhwa Pune Crime News)

Earlier, the Pune Sessions Court had rejected the anticipatory bail plea of Maulana Abdul Rashid Kalandar Khan.
