The names of several metro stations in the city have been objected to. In the last few days, there has been a demand to change some metro stations in the city. Here's an important update. The names of three stations in Pune city will be changed. Union Minister and BJP leader Murlidhar Mohol had tweeted about this.

The process has been completed and the notification will be issued soon.
The names of three stations in the city - Budhwar Peth, Mangalwar Peth and Nashik Phata - will be changed.
After this, the name of Budhwar Peth station will be changed to Kasba Peth station, Mangalwar Peth station will be renamed as RTO station and Nashik Phata station will be renamed as Kasarwadi metro station.


The proposal has been forwarded to the central government. The Central Government has also approved the renaming of Civil Court Station as Shivajinagar District Court.
Union Minister and Pune MP Murlidhar Mohol inspected the Swargate Metro Station today.
Swargate Metro Station is an underground, multi-modal hub.

This metro station will soon be opened for passengers in a very modern and updated manner.
Union Minister Mohol expressed confidence that the groundbreaking ceremony of the Swargate to Katraj route will also take place.


There are two routes for the Pune Metro. One route has been completed, 15 km distance from Vanaz to Ramwadi has been completed.
