Panvel : Thieves broke into a locked flat in Sector 7 of Khandeshwar Colony and decamped with jewellery worth Rs1.50 lakh. The family had been living in the house for the once three days. A case has been registered at Khandeshwar police station in this regard.
The family, which lives in Shiv Smriti Society in Sector 7, had gone out of their house from April 30 to the early hours of May 2nd. When they arrived at the house on Thursday morning, they set up the door open. The robbers took down cash, jewellery and other objects from the house. The Navi Mumbai police had appealed to the residers to be watchful while going out of their homes during the holidays.
