Chandrababu Naidu was sworn in as Andhra Pradesh's Chief Minister for the fourth time on Wednesday. Notable figures such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Health Minister JP Nadda attended the ceremony. The Naidu administration welcomed 20 TDP ministers, two from Janasena, and one from BJP. Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan followed Naidu in taking the oath and will serve as the state's Deputy Chief Minister.

The previous day, Naidu was chosen as the legislature party leader by TDP and NDA. Following Naidu's election as the legislature party leader, representatives from TDP, BJP, and Janasena alliance met with Governor S Abdul Nazir in Vijayawada to assert their intent to govern. Additional leaders are expected to be sworn in as ministers alongside Naidu.

Naidu confirmed that Amaravati will remain the state's sole capital during a pre-inauguration announcement. He also mentioned seeking and securing cooperation from the central government for the southern state. In the Andhra Pradesh assembly elections, the Telugu Desam Party, led by Chandrababu Naidu, emerged as the largest party with 135 out of 175 seats.

Janasena Party, led by Pawan Kalyan, secured 21 seats, while the BJP won eight seats. Jaganmohan Reddy's YSRCP was reduced to only 11 seats. The TDP, Janasena, and BJP formed an alliance for the Andhra Pradesh assembly elections.
