Amritsar : Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal compared the country's situation to Russia, denouncing a "dictatorship" where opposition leaders are being imprisoned. Addressing Punjab Aam Aadmi Party workers and leaders, Kejriwal urged them to strive for the party's victory in all 13 Lok Sabha seats in the state. He criticized the BJP for incarcerating rival party leaders.

Kejriwal expressed disapproval of the current state of affairs in the country, emphasizing the unprecedented incarceration of opposition figures. Drawing parallels to Russia, he highlighted tactics used to eliminate opposition and secure over whelming electoral victories. Granted bail by the Supreme Court in the Delhi excise policy case to campaign in the Lok Sabha elections, Kejriwal is set to return to jail on June 2.

Alleging intrusive monitoring during his jail term, Kejriwal claimed constant surveillance with CCTV cameras in his cell, detailing the extent of monitoring and alleged dissemination of surveillance footage. Despite facing challenges, Kejriwal emphasized unity within AAP and resilience against attempts to destabilize the party and government. Encouraging party members to work diligently for success in the upcoming elections, Kejriwal emphasized the collective strength and resilience of the AAP.
