The individual who misbehaved with Kanhaiya Kumar and threw ink on the Congress candidate from North East Delhi Lok Sabha seat has been granted bail by the court. The incident took place last Friday during an election event in the New Osmanpur area. The accused was previously arrested by the Delhi Police. It was reported that Kanhaiya Kumar, the Congress candidate from North East Delhi, was attending a meeting at the AAP office in Swami Satyanarayan Bhawan on 4th Pushta of New Osmanpur.

The meeting was hosted by AAP councilor Chhaya Sharma. Following the meeting, as Chhaya Sharma was bidding farewell to Kanhaiya Kumar, some individuals approached and garlanded him. Subsequently, they threw ink at him and attempted to harm him. When Chhaya Sharma tried to intervene, they behaved inappropriately and threatened her. DCP North East mentioned that legal action is being pursued based on Chhaya Sharma's complaint, with ongoing investigations.

DCP North East Joy Tirkey stated that Ajay Kumar was apprehended for the ink-throwing incident involving Kanhaiya Kumar, the Congress candidate from North East Delhi. The incident occurred during a meeting in the office on May 17, with efforts underway to locate the other suspects.
