Heavy Rain Causes Devastation in Guangdong, China: On Monday, heavy rain hit Guangdong Province in South China, leading to severe flooding and resulting in five fatalities and 15 individuals going missing in a landslide incident, as reported by local authorities. The city is now gripped with fear following this tragedy, with daily life in Guangdong province severely disrupted.

Meizu city in the province also experienced heavy rainfall on Sunday, causing widespread flooding and submerging numerous houses and vehicles. Rescue operations are ongoing to save those affected by the floods and to restore normalcy in the area. Xinhua news agency reported that multiple houses were destroyed by landslides, leading to five confirmed deaths and 13 people still trapped.

Rescue teams, including helicopters, are working to locate and rescue the missing individuals. The floods have also caused extensive damage to properties in the region, compounding the challenges faced by the city following the heavy rains earlier in the year.
