MUMBAI : The Crime Branch has now registered a case under Maharashtra Prevention of Organized Crime Act(MCOCA) in this case to take strict action against the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in the firing incident at actor Salman Khan's house. A case was registered against gang leader Lawrence Bishnoi, his youngish brother Anmol Bishnoi and six people in this case. Lawrence Bishnoi gang had colluded to fire at Salman's house, and Anmol Bishnoi claimed responsibility after the firing.

The Crime Branch had arrested Sonu Subhash Chandra Bishnoi(37yrs) and Anuj Thapan(32yrs) from Punjab in connection with the firing near actor Salman Khan's house in Bandra. Chander owns a farm and a grocery store. Thapan is also working as a helper on the truck. Two pistols and 40 cartridges were supplied to both the indicted by the Bishnoi gang. Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, who fired at Salman's house, were given pistols by Sonu and Anuj. Gupta and Pal were before arrested from Bhuj in Gujarat.

Piecemeal from that, gang leader Lawrence Bishnoi and his family Anmol Bishnoi were also indicted in the crime. After the firing at Salman Khan's house in Bandra, a Facebook account named Anmol Bishnoi claimed responsibility for the attack by uploading a post, also on Friday, a look out indirect was issued against Anmol. About 12 to13 cases have been registered against Anmol in Punjab and Chandigarh.

In the Salman Khan case too, the entire conspiracy was incubated by Anmol. Anmol is indicted of transferring money and pistols to the shooters. Eventually, on Saturday, a case was registered against all the six indicted under Mokka. Thus, an officer of the rank of Assistant Police Commissioner will now probe the matter. After Mokka, the crime branch will soon take over the gang leader Lawrence Bishnoi from jail.
