Heavy rains are occurring in many parts of the state. Heavy rainfall has battered several states in North India. Heavy rainfall has disrupted life in many areas. At least 28 people have been killed in rain-related incidents in several parts of north India. Landslides triggered by heavy rain in Rajasthan. Meanwhile, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the safety of the people of the state is his top priority. He also said that he held a meeting with the officials regarding the heavy rains in the state at the Chief Minister's Office and necessary guidelines have been issued to provide all the arrangements related to disaster management immediately.

Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
Meanwhile, heavy rain is continuing in the various parts of Punjab and Haryana. Several villages in Haryana's Yamunanagar district have been inundated after the Som river breached its embankment. In Punjab's Hoshiarpur, a total of 9 people were killed after a four-wheeler they were travelling in was washed away in flood waters. There were 8 members in the family. In many areas, crops were submerged. This inflicted heavy loss on the farmers. The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) has been called in, the official said.

In Himachal Pradesh, three girls have died and one person is missing after a landslide and flash floods. More than 280 roads have been rendered unfit for traffic due to the massive landslides. Power supply was affected in 458 places and water supply in 48 places along these roads. A woman and her seven-year-old son died after the roof of their house collapsed due to rain in Uttar Pradesh's Jalaun. In Uttarakhand, a massive landslide in Bhimbli triggered a flood situation as water from the Mandakini river basin flowed elsewhere. The Jammu and Kashmir administration has suspended the annual Amarnath Yatra due to heavy rains in the region.

Warning to Delhiites
Due to heavy rainfall, several streets across Delhi were waterlogged, causing disruptions to traffic flow. A seven-year-old boy drowned in a pond in Rohini district's Sector 20. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi is likely to receive light to moderate rain with thunderstorms today. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has also advised people to avoid non-essential travel and stay at home if possible. Meanwhile, a flood alert has been issued in Karnataka after a breach in the gates of the Pampa Sagar dam.
