Lal Krishna Advani, a senior BJP leader and former Deputy Prime Minister, has been released from AIIMS New Delhi. LK Advani has departed from the private ward of Delhi AIIMS to his official residence. He has been advised by the doctor to return for a follow-up appointment. His condition worsened on Wednesday. Advani, who is 96 years old, was taken to AIIMS Delhi late on Wednesday night. He was monitored by the medical professionals in the geriatric department at AIIMS.

As per the details given, he was taken to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at approximately 10:30 pm on Wednesday evening. Elderly BJP politician LK Advani needed hospitalization for age-related issues. He has not been involved in active political activities since 2014. Recently, his photo was revealed when Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited his home to seek his blessings after being chosen as the leader of the NDA parliamentary party.

Advani, who was born in Karachi, Pakistan on November 8, 1927 to a Hindu Sindhi family, received India's highest civilian award Bharat Ratna from the Government of India in the current year. He served as the Home Minister under the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) from 1998 to 2004. Between 2002 and 2004, LK Advani served as the seventh Deputy Prime Minister of India under the government of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He performed excellently as the Leader of the Opposition in the 10th and 14th Lok Sabha.
