Additionally, they awarded Rs.3 lakh and Rs.2 lakh to Navneet from Mandya, who also excelled at a Morarji Desai residential school in Mandya, securing the third position with a score of 623 out of 625.

Siddaramaiah pledged to allocate Rs.1.5 crore for the enhancement of the two Morarji Desai schools, where the top students emerged from. Deputy Chief Minister Shivakumar expressed his pleasure and pride in the achievements of government school students who attained the first and third ranks. He emphasized the potential of students and teachers in government schools.

Shivakumar highlighted his goal of improving rural government schools for the students' benefit, intending to utilize corporate social responsibility funds for the development. Once the election code of conduct is lifted, a meeting will be convened to discuss this initiative with stakeholders.
