There seems to be no end to murders in Pune. This is the third murder of Vanraj Andekar in the last three days. He was accused of murder. He was shot dead when he tried to save his brother.
Sunil (20). The name of the murdered youth is Dias Plot, Gultekdi). The accused have been identified as Rohan Kamble and Sahil Kamble, who were out on bail, with the help of their accomplices. It is learnt that the murder took place over previous enmity. Sunil Sarode lives in Dice Plot Gultekdi. His brother and the accused had a quarrel earlier. Sahil Kamble has been booked under MCOCA by Pune Police. He had been released on bail. After this, the police were preparing to take preventive action against Sahil Kamble. Before that, he staged a midnight sit-in at the Dias plot. (Swargate Police Station)
Rohan Kamble and Sahil Kamble, along with an accomplice, had come to the Dias plot to kill Sunil Sarode. While he was killing his brother, Sunil Sarode stepped in to save him. The accused then attacked Sunil with a knife. The wound was festering. He died due to excessive bleeding. Police have arrested five persons in connection with the incident, the SP said.
