The minor girl, a resident of Adisavi hamlet in Narsimulapet mandal of Mahabubabad district, 200 km from Hyderabad, was a second-year polytechnic student at a private college in Kodad. A young man raped her in the name of love. Unable to bear the constant harassment, the girl decided to end her life. Two days ago, she attempted suicide by consuming pesticide. She was later referred to the Mahabubabad District Hospital. The woman is still being treated at the hospital this morning.
The girl died while treatment was being administered to her. So she wanted to tie the last rakhi to her brothers. Her brothers were called to the hospital last night to tie her a rakhi. She hugged her brother and kissed him on his forehead. He loved and cared for her. She then tied a rakhi on her brother's hand. The moment was captured on camera.
