According to the police, the accused has been released on bail. The complainant was going to meet him on a motorcycle as he was ill. On the way, he was stopped by Nilesh Dhumal near the Vitthal temple. The accused have been identified as Manohar Dhumal and Amol Dhumal.
Sadhu Kapse slapped the complainant. When Akshay Kapse and Sadhu Kapse stood in front of the complainant and blocked his way, the complainant pushed everyone away. He saw that Akshay Kapse, Manohar Kapse, Amol Dhumal had sickles in their hands. One of them then hit the victim on the head with a knife. The accused fled into the forest.
