1- A group of young individuals fatally attacked a friend in Haldwani. They struck him with a car, causing severe head injuries and cutting off his thumb with a sharp weapon. The injured youth's mother has lodged a complaint with the police, urging swift action. 2- Incidents of violence and assault against women are on the rise in Nainital district. Over the past four months, the women's helpline has received a total of 225 cases reported through various channels.
3- A Delhi resident student tragically ended her life by hanging herself after speaking to her mother on the phone. When the mother attempted to call back later in the day, there was no answer. Upon friends breaking into her room that evening, they discovered her lifeless body.
PG Swamy contacted the authorities, who removed the body from the noose and transported it to Sushila Tiwari Hospital. The medical staff pronounced the student deceased. Meanwhile, the police are conducting an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the student's decision to take her own life.
