The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Hyderabad is urging the Congress government in Telangana to fulfill its promise of providing two lakh jobs, as pledged before the Assembly elections. BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao expressed disappointment on behalf of unemployed individuals who have yet to see these promises materialize.

He criticized the government for failing to issue job notifications despite extensive advertising of job calendars prior to the elections. KTR warned that if the government does not act on its commitments, BRS leaders will protest on behalf of the unemployed. He highlighted unmet promises made during the elections, such as an increase in job opportunities in various groups, which have not been fulfilled.

KTR emphasized the need for timely notifications and fair candidate selection processes to support job aspirants effectively. The BRS leader also raised concerns about the scheduling of upcoming exams, including TET, Group 1 prelims, DSC, Group 2, Group 1 mains, and Group 3, which are slated for consecutive dates, potentially limiting adequate preparation time for candidates. KTR stressed the importance of spacing out exam dates to accommodate students taking multiple tests.
