The Noida Police on Saturday captured a 38-year-old wedded man who purportedly choked his 19-year-former girlfriend to death after she compelled him to wed her, authorities said. After purportedly killing his better half, the man cut his throat with an edge trying to take his life too however made due, they said. A FIR was stopped by the lady's dad at the Area 63 Police headquarters here, police said. "The FIR was stopped under IPC segment 302 (murder) and an examination was taken up for the situation after which the denounced was captured," a police representative said. "The denounced let police know that until a long time back, he was residing in a similar building in Delhi where the lady and her family likewise resided," the representative said.
After a year, he moved to Chhijarsi town in Noida and by then the two were seeing someone, representative added. "On Wednesday night, the lady came to him at his home in Chhijarsi where they talked for some time after which she demanded that they ought to get hitched. He said he was at that point wedded and dismissed wedding her. "Nonetheless, she compromised him and he got terrified, after which a contention broke out and he choked her to death," the police representative said.
