In a joint operation, 47 childrens were rescued by the city police and Child Welfare Committee (CWC) officials from the forced into begging.

Six childrens of them are aged less than one year and Twelve (12yrs old) of them are between one and three.

On Friday at 6.30 am on words, rescued opperation was done by the officers from the Women Protection Wings (WPW) and by the Special Inquiry Branch of the Central Crime Bureau (CCB) joined forces with the policemen of the city from the Pulakeshi nagar sub-division and rescued the minors.

The 36 womens accused of pushing the children into the begging. The children were found begging near the Hajee Sir Ismail Sait Masjid in Pulakeshi nagar.

"The rescued children have been handed to the CWC (Child Welfare Committee)for rehabilitation and counselling with the childrens. B Dayananda the Police Commissioner of Bengaluru was said that , "They are Verifying the Background of the rescued childrens and also conducting a investigation in detailed, and questioning to the detained womens behind this crime.

The Case is registered under the Juvenile Justice Act, Based on the violation.

In all the Officials rescued by the police and they said that the Six Childrens between 3 and 6 yrs, 16 between the 6 and 10 yrs, 7 of them over 10 years were rescued In all the 19 boys and 28 girls were rescued.
